Fungus Among Us
Today Greg found some Dr. Seuss like fungus growing in the yard at Lead Pencil Studio. That part of the yard never gets sun and is always mossy but then this stuff has just started sprouting up. Its some kind of moss lichen, of what kind I'm not sure. Really interesting though, I will have to check back each day to see what they progress to. I think tomorrow I will take my dedicated macro lens to work to try and get some more interesting shots. Today I only had the kit lens with me but I was still able to get some pretty amazing shots. Wow, that is incredible. I thought it was rusted nails with kelp at first glance.
