Sneak Peek
Here is a sneak peak at John Grade's newest project. It involves a few thousand pounds of clay all pressed into molds. Its a huge project and he has a bunch of student helpers at Pottery Northwest.
After they come out of the molds you have to push down each of the little nubs one at a time by hand. There are about 400 of these clay panels and each panel has a few hundred nubs, that's a lot of nubbin'.
On Saturday I'm going to be shooting a time lapse of the space, so pretty soon I will have a video put together. Until then you can see more pictures here.
