Here is a piece completed last year by Lead Pencil Studio that I helped to make a small piece of. It's installed at Spokane Falls Community College. It's 40 something feet tall with plastic panels that are back lit at night.

See that little arrow pointing to the half circle way up there. I made that. The rest of it is pretty cool too, I guess.
The piece is meant to showcase they dying culture of signage across the west. These classic style billboards which once dominated the landscape are now an endangered species.
I remember watching the video below awhile back and it brings up a great point about signage in modern day America.
